Murrindal
“Murrindal” (on J Tree Track) is located near Cann River in east Gippsland, just under 5 hrs drive from Melbourne. The property of just over 400 acres is a mixture of regenerating and old growth forest including pockets of threatened warm temperate rainforest along the Bemm River and Goolengook Rivers. The property is surrounded by several of Victoria’s most untouched, extensive and remote National Parks including Errinundra National Park (27,000 ha) just 15 minutes drive north and Croajingalong National Park (90,000 ha) 30 mins to the south.
Nature Based Therapies
Murrindal was purchased with the vision of providing a flagship location for conducting and researching nature-based therapies. The location provides unique opportunities for immersive nature-based activities surrounded by stunning views, abundant wildlife, fresh air and secure surrounds. Murrindal is in a remote area of Victoria hence offering peace and tranquillity largely undisturbed from human sounds and visual interruptions. As such the property is entirely off-grid with solar generated power and hot water, wood fired and gas cooking and rainwater.

Our Programs Include:
- Forest Therapy walks in spectacular rainforest to calm your mind and tune your sensors
- Bush sensory activities using your eyes, ears, nose touch and intuition and curiosity
- Activities for social cohesion including bush cooking, navigation, nature exploration, bush skills, fires side story telling and games (remember fun!)
- Solo activities for those looking for solitude
Rustic Well-being
The house made of rustic bridge timbers, is surrounded by approximately 40 acres of cleared land offering opportunities for a range of activities including hammock star gazing, fireside cooking and storytelling, yoga and meditation, wildlife spotlighting, birdwatching, gardening, group games and …..or just taking in the beautiful view of the Combienbar Mountains.
Camping sites are located a short walk from the house and offer beautiful easterly views. A camp kitchen with gas and wood cooking are located in the camping area along with hot showers and toilets.
